Trauma-Focused Therapy
Many people who find their way here don't think of themselves as “trauma survivors”. They come because relationships feel harder than they should, because they can't seem to stop a pattern no matter how much they understand it, because they feel chronically on edge, empty, or disconnected from themselves. Sometimes it shows up as anxiety or depression. Sometimes it's a persistent sense of shame or not-enoughness that has no clear origin. Often, what underlies all of this is attachment wounding, childhood trauma, and the lasting imprint of early experiences that shaped how we learned to feel, relate, and survive.
I work with complex and developmental trauma (cPTSD) using AEDP, EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and parts work. These are experiential, body-based approaches that work with trauma at the level where it is actually held, not just in memory and narrative, but in the nervous system, in emotion, and in the parts of us that formed long before we had words. The work is paced carefully, building inner resources and safety before moving into deeper processing, so that healing unfolds without overwhelming your system.

Support for People of the Global Majority
As a Black bi-racial woman, I cherish the privilege of witnessing and supporting People of the Global Majority (BIPoC folks) as they heal and thrive. I acknowledge the profound impact of colonialism, racial and systemic trauma, and interlocking oppressive forces on our well-being. However, I also understand that the experiences of People of the Global Majority are not solely defined by suffering and oppression.
Our lives, while shaped in part by these challenges, encompass a far richer, complex, and more diverse set of experiences. Inspired by the strength and resilience inherent in our communities, I am committed to a therapeutic approach that recognizes and honours our full humanity. In therapy, we acknowledge these adversities but also celebrate our collective resilience, ancestral wisdom, and reclaim the immense potential for joy, pleasure, and fulfillment in our lives.
